Praise for Body Wisdom
Wow! Body Wisdom is so incredible. I read it last night and feel so privileged to have received so much wisdom and insight. It's written with such clarity and feels so "right"...I couldn't put it down. I feel like I have such a wonderful set of tools to use on myself and my family...and I’d like to teach them to do it themselves. I love how simple, yet profound that the work is.
It's such an honor to read and witness such an incredible journey. Thank you for writing it. I love it! Thank you G.

I was so happy with your book. I liked that you mentioned your (NDE) and how it helped you first find the inner voice that could later give you so much information. It is so easy to sound too esoteric with such information (or to choose to leave it out for fear of that). You worded it just right. I was happy to see it, so it can affirm, for people like me, that that voice is out there & available. It also gives me a better understanding of how you work. Also, the handy index for looking up treatments is great. Thank you, C.

I want to thank you once more with all my heart for your book and for the healing which you share with all the rest of us. I was shocked, deeply moved, and profoundly inspired by your story. It has helped me to understand and appreciate the help I've received through you, on a whole new level.
Immediately I put the book to use. I've been studying Peter Levine's "SE" process as well. The latest workshop focused on birth trauma, and afterwards I found myself re-experiencing my own difficult birth in the middle of the night. After getting an "SE" session which recalled this further, I've been using the NFP to process and reintegrate this experience.
I feel excited about the potential of your book for helping the young people I'd like to work with to self-help, since your approach is
understandable, accessible, and seemingly simple enough to be empowering for them. I'd like to use the book for a manual for the "peace warrior" trauma work, and I think this can stand alone.
At the same time, I'm finding the NFP a perfect ally for Peter's method of working, making "SE" more effective and comprehensive,
allowing a self-help way of completing and integrating what a session of "SE" may begin or open up.
In any case, I'm amazed at the beauty of fit here, and grateful for the opportunity to begin putting these together in a way that may help kids.
We're hoping to do a small trial run of "peace warrior" work at the Amy Biehl Charter High School in Albuquerque. I'm envisioning a team of students trained in "trauma first aid", just like mediator teams are trained already, to be "on call" in the schools.
Also I've been working with Maggi Klein in regard to their Sierra Leone project for "child soldiers". She's planning a short trip late this year to make contacts, and has invited me to go with her, although I'm concerned about whether it will be possible to find enough stability anywhere there for the work to bear fruit. Thank you, M.
