How to Use the DCR Course Catalog

Within this catalog is the reflection of our current seminars, concepts and theories, ‘techniques’ and approaches. We are happy to offer you insight into the unique continuing education process sponsored by Dialogues in Contemporary Rehabilitation.

How to use this catalog:
  1. Understand the ‘system’.

  2. Read the course description, which will offer only cursory understanding about course content.

  3. Peruse with great detail the course outline. There will be evidence of the patho-anatomy, patho-mechanics, and patho-physiology included in the seminar-specific diagnostics and treatment.
  4. Also note any pre-requisite courses.
  5. Find the course ‘code’.

  6. Consult the Course Calendar or call DCR for location and registration information. You may also ask for a copy of the current schedule of seminars in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and South America.

We are privileged to commit to this process of ‘dissemination of information’. We honor this commitment. Our goals are to further functional outcomes and attain client satisfaction for all client populations. Towards this purpose, our seminars are offered to professionals of all disciplines. Our courses, techniques, and knowledge are trans-disciplinary. The professional who is discipline-specific integrating our material will achieve far greater rehabilitation results within his / her own unique profession.

Our faculty is expert in Structural Rehabilitation. Their expertise has been advanced via education and training in Integrative Manual Therapy. They are Integrative Manual Practitioners, Certified. Each one is able to promote development of rehabilitation with all course content, utilizing our Integrated Systems Approach. Faculty represents our trans-disciplinary approach to multi-population utilization.

Practitioners receive a letter from DCR prior to each seminar. There is guidance towards self-directed learning in anatomy which should be completed prior to the course. All seminars include unique material which is not duplicated in other seminars. Although some courses have pre-requisites, the ‘introductory’ seminars are filled with advanced, ready-to-use applicable material. The instructors do not teach basic anatomy which can be self-taught from anatomy books. There is no wasted time!
