


| Jared
Van Der Beek, P.T., I.M.P., C. Jared Van Der Beek graduated from the University
of Vermont with a B.S. in Allied Health Sciences and a Physical Therapy
degree in 2001. While in school Jared played varsity baseball and
intramural sports. The year following graduation he took over 30 continuing
education courses and started working as an Integrative Manual Therapist.
He had intensive training under Sharon Weiselfish-Giammatteo to learn
the techniques of IMT and the advanced diagnostics. He also studied
under Tom Giammatteo to learn adjustment therapy and how to achieve
proper biomechanics. He had extensive training with Sue Leger who
has an expertise in neurologic rehab, the ankle and foot, and athletic
training. Jared opened up the CenterIMT Cherry Hill and is also the
Practice Manager. He is the director of Athletic Rehabilitation and
Sports Enhancement. Jared looks to take the field of sports medicine
into the 21st century and beyond. He will begin his teaching career
when he teaches the Ankle and Foot course and then the Myofascial
Release course. |

| Penny
Zimmerman, M.S, .P.T., A.T.C., C.S.C.S. Penny Zimmerman has worked part time at CenterIMT Cherry Hill since June 2002. She lives in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania with her husband Eric and her two beautiful daughters Sydney and Dale. In 1990, Penny earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in Physical Education Teaching, while also completing her requirements to become a certified athletic trainer. In 1992, she graduated from the University of Miami, Florida with her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Upon graduation, Penny moved to Denver, Colorado where she worked for Denver Orthopedic Specialists and Health South as a Physical Therapist/Athletic Trainer and earned her Strength and Conditioning Certification. Penny moved back to her hometown of Swarthmore in 1996 and has been working at Riddle Rehab Institute in Media, Pennsylvania where she supervises the satellite clinic in the Rocky Run YMCA and the Sports Medicine Program, which provides athletic training at two colleges, a high school, and middle school. Penny is an adjunct professor for Widener University in the Doctorate Program for Physical Therapy. She has also attended over 50 continuing education courses with an emphasis on IMT. She continues to study and gain experience in all aspects of IMT including sports medicine, back pain, headaches, neurological diagnoses, spinal cord injuries, and more. Penny is honored to be a part of the CenterIMT team
and is excited to help clients of all populations achieve their functional
goals. |

| Regina
Rosenthal, P.T., M.A., I.M.P., C. Regina Rosenthal received her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, Newark, NJ, in 1983 and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Kean University, Union NJ in 1995. As part of her Master’s Theses (“The Impact of a Chronic Pain Self-Help Course on Depression, Daily Activity, and Perception of Problems”), she formulated and taught a 15- hour/4 session Chronic Pain Self-Help Class at her practice from 1994-1999. Prior to her work in physical therapy she was a hatha yoga instructor and high school teacher. Regina has worked in hospital, home care, and private practice settings. She currently practices at Dimensions of Wellness, Inc., her own private practice, which opened in 1991. She was an instructor in the Continuing Education Program in the Diagnosis and Management of Craniomandibular (TMJ) Disorders, University of Medicine and Dentistry of News Jersey (UMDNJ) from 1987-1996. She also established and taught a Stress Management program for clinic patients in the TMJ/Orofacial Pain center at UMDNJ. Regina has also been an instructor for the Lever Brothers, Visiting Nurse Association of Trenton, NJ, American Rheumatism Association Fiftieth Anniversary Symposium, NJ Dental Association, NJ Counselors Association, NJ American Physical Therapy Association, Rutgers University, Monmouth Medical Center, AT&T, Baxter Health Care Corporation, and NY Dental Association. Regina has been an instructor for Dialogues in Contemporary Rehabilitation (DCR) for the past 5 years, teaching courses in Integrative Manual Therapy such as myofascial release, myofascial mapping, craniosacral therapy series, neural tissue tension, lymphatic system in the United States and abroad. She has been a part-time therapist for CenterIMT Bloomfield, CT and CenterIMT Cherry Hill, NJ for the past 7 years. Her post-graduate training includes craniosacral therapy and visceral mobilization studied through DCR and the Upledger Institute, myofascial release, Trager, zero balancing, process acupressure, lymphatic system training, neural tissue mobilization, muscle energy, strain-counterstrain, clinical hypnotherapy, and extensive course work through DCR.
