Sharon graduated from Wingate Institute of Physiotherapy in Israel; received an undergraduate degree in Advanced Health Sciences and Medicine, a graduate degree in Clinical Neurosciences and her Doctoral Degree investigating manual and cranial therapies for the neurologic client.
Dr. W. Giammatteo developed Integrative Manual Therapy, the Integrated Systems Approach and Integrative Diagnostics. She has taught on 5 continents as an expert in orthopedics, chronic pain, pediatrics, neurologic and geriatric rehabilitation.
Frank Gentile graduated from Boston University in 1976 with a B.S. in Health Science. He then continued his university studies at University of Vermont and received a B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1979. While at the University of Vermont, Frank trained and worked as a student athletic trainer. His clinical work included an affiliation at Massachusetts General Hospital where he received extensive training in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation.
Frank worked at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine where he treated in acute care, orthopedics and respiratory rehabilitation. In private practice, he established athletic training programs at local high schools. Frank also developed a sports medicine program in the greater Portland area: a Walk-In Sports Clinic with Orthopedic Surgeons.
In 1987, Frank received his Certification in Manual Therapy from the Institute of Graduate Health Sciences. Frank has studied the Cyriax, Maitland and Karlteborn approaches to Manual Therapy and integrated them into his practice, focusing on low back pain and orthopedics. Frank also helped to develop an anterior cruciate rehabilitation and patella femoral dysfunction program with a Manual Therapy philosophy.
Frank currently practices Integrative Manual Therapy on a varied patient population ranging from orthopedic to neurologic dysfunction. Frank is teaching faculty at the Connecticut School of Integrative Manual Therapy (CSIMT) where he teaches nationally and internationally. Frank has written multiple single subject design case studies and is currently involved in clinical research projects with other colleagues at CSIMT.
David Berenbaum is the Practice Manager of CenterIMT Fair Lawn, NJ. David graduated from Hunter College with a B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1985. He also earned a degree in Physical Education from The Institute of Physical Culture in Lvov, Ukraine in 1978.
David has worked in a rehabilitation department at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, where he gained experience in working with spinal cord injury patients, as well as other types of neurologically involved clients. He also worked for eight years in a sports medicine clinic before opening a private practice in 1996. In 2002, David joined CenterIMT Fair lawn.
David has studied different forms of manual therapy such as Acupressure, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Visceral Mobilization. In 1996, he began his studying in Integrative Manual Therapy and in 2002, David joined the teaching faculty of the Connecticut School of Integrative Manual Therapy. Currently, David is an instructor for a variety of courses, and is teaching nationally and internationally. He has an expertise in IMT on all patient populations. David also has a specialization in the neuropediatric patient population. At the present time, he is participating in Biophysigraphy research of Nosode Therapy.
