Related Biologic Disorders (RBDs)

This Web Page on Integrative Manual Therapy for Related Biologic Disorders is for Advanced Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) Practitioners who have participated in at least 3 IMT Seminars.

What is a RBD?
A RBD is a dysfunction of the 21st century. This RBD IMT technology isan approach to hands-on therapy for the 21st cenntury. Each RBD IMT technology will include:
1. ANS Template
2. Blueprint
3. Energetic Phenomena, including:
A. Synchronizer
B. Hypothalamus Regulation Mechanisms (HRM)
C. Reference Point
4. Plate

When to Use this RBD IMT Technology?
A RBD is a pattern of dysfunction, which means that many persons in the USA, and in other countries, present with a similar pattern of dysfunction. This means that many persons when treated for RBDs will experience relief from signs and symptoms. The signs and symptoms experienced by persons affected by the same RBD may be similar or different. RBD IMT technology provides a solution.

How Much RBD IMT Technology will be Helpful for the Manual Therapist?
Since 2004, it is evident that many persons are af fected by multiple RBDs. Sometimes, the RBD IMT Technology provides the solution; sometimes, using the RBD IMT Technology 'opens a door', so that 'other intervention' is effective. Sometimes, that other intervention is IMT, other manual therapy, supplements or medication.

How Long Does it Take to Use RBD IMT Technology Effectively?
Often, it is best to use any one RBD manual intervention for 1 hour or more. Often, the Manual Therapist has not yet developed Clinical Skills, which relates to palpation and perception. In such cases, 2 hours or more may be required to treat a RBD effectively.

Does a RBD Return After Treatment?
Most RBDs will not return after treatment. Sometimes, perhaps 10% of the time, the RBD will require another ‘dose’ of treatment. Sometimes, Clinical Skills will allow the IMT Practitioner to require this manual therapy solution only once for immediate and total reduction of the signs and symptoms related to the RBD.

What is the Difference Between Acute and Chronic?
When a person is treated for RBDs with this approach, one repetition of intervention for each RBD is adequate treatment, with occasional return of signs and symptoms for this same RBD. When a person has never been treated for any RBDs, consider the nature, severity and chronicity of the signs and symptoms. Consider this manual therapy in tervention as ‘foundation treatment’ before treatment with any other intervention. There are many RBDs since 2004. The condition might be chronic. Perhaps 10 hours or more will be required to reduce pathophysiology from RBDs; perhaps more.

How Should I Make My Choice? Which RBDs Should I Treat?
Read the title. Consider the signs and symptoms which may be due to an RBD, or a group of RBDs. For example, if there seems to be a respiratory problem, which include problems of breathing, coughing, and more, then use the IMT technology for Lung Related RBDs. Perhaps there is a Part One for one or several RBDs, followed by a Part Two. The developers of this IMT technology feel it will be most effective to use Part One before Part Two.
