Boy Labeled Autistic (2004)
I've been waiting to update you on C.H. He is doing so well!!! Short term memory has improved tremendously. That was one of his biggest problem areas. He is retaining information like never before. He can remember up to three directions at a time. Sometimes there a little jumbled, but before he couldn't remember even on direction."
-Mother / Physical Therapist.
"He decided on his own he wanted to go off gluten. He is doing great! We have tried to take him off many times and it was always a bit of a battle and we where never very successful. This time he is reading the labels himself, self monitoring what he eats. We have noticed huge changes, mostly with behavior and attitude. He has noticed less pain in his body and no more tummy aches and migraines after eating. His thinking is much more clear and different" -Mother / Physical Therapist
Female Athlete (2004)
"I want to extend my thanks to you for all your help. We have this race in Maine every year called the People's Beach to Beacon 10k. Five thousand runners from all over the world ranging from the elite world's best to your back of the pack recreational runner. I always key up for the race because it is in my backyard. I had my best run this year at this race. I felt great throughout the race. I finished the 10k in 38:34. I attribute my success to all the manual work and supplements that has helped me feel healthier and stronger." -M.G., client
"Thanks again for all your hard work and dedication to Integrative Manual Therapy." - M.G., client
Boy Labeled Autistic (2003)
"He has calmed down A Lot! He is no longer that "superball" bouncing off the walls that I once described to you. The vitamins are working well, too. -Mother
"We had parent-teacher conferences for Gregory this past Monday. It was the best and most encouraging report so far. Even in speech. The words that he does have are now pronounced clearer". -Mother
Client with Headaches and Dizziness (2000)
"Prior to starting IMT therapy in the Fall of 1999, I had experienced headaches on nearly a daily basis for years. The pain effected my relationships, attention span and ability to concentrate and sleep.During the same period the vision in my right eye deteriorated. This caused me to have difficulties with depth perception, reading, driving and computer work.
Dizziness had also been an occasional problem. I had felt my headaches may have be related to my vision problems and had sought help from an ophthalmologist who sent me for an MRI. The neurologist's assessment of the MRI was optic neuritis and a 50/50 chance of developing multiple sclerosis in the next few years I was prescribed Motrin and sleeping pills, the headaches continued, I was told the vision would never improve and was now burdened with the worry of developing MS.
Following this experience I belived there where no options available to help me and that I just had to live with it, which I did for years.
Following several treatments at CenterIMT, the headaches disappeared. I no longer experience my dizziness. My ability to focus on a task and to process information has improved greatly. I feel I have more energy and a more positive outlook. My eye or vision work is still in progress but I am extremely confident that there will be positive improvements here as well." -Client with Headaches and Dizziness.
53 Year old Man with Sciatica (2003)
"I started treatments at CenterIMT about 2 1/2 years ago for severe sciatica pain. I had pain running from my lower back to the middle of my left calf. Getting in and out of the car, driving, and sitting in a soft chair was painfull. I was running 4 to 5 days a week and still doing some weight training.
It was recommended that I stop doing certain exercises because they were putting to much strain on my back. However, from my initial visit on, I was encouraged to continue as many of my daily activities as possible, as long as they did not become painful. After every session, I felt better, both emotionally and physically. The most surprising result was that there was no degradation of how good I felt from one visit to another. I just kept getting better with no set backs.
As I continued to go to therapy, I continued to feel less and less pain, all while continuing my normal activities. I was conscientious with my Neurofascial Process homework and made a point of telling the therapist the progress I was making and the reduction in my pain. After 9-12 months, I returned to see my doctor for a progress report. When I told him I was pain free, he said "When I saw how much pain you where in the last time you where here, I was sure you would have to go under the knife."
There is no doubt to why I am pain free and fellling younger than I did 5-10 years ago. I am convinced it is the IMT and getting body to heal itself. I will continue maintainence sessions, which is now every three to four months, just to keep the aging process in check and reversing itself!" - JV age 53
