Patient and Family Information

Integrative Manual Therapy is a non-invasive, hands on treatment program, which has been revolutionizing health care over the past three decades. In that time, we have successfully served thousands of patientsÑpatients who have come to us from word of mouth recommendations because we don't advertise. As a result of this success we are continually opening more and more locations around the world to serve those in need. (For more information on Integrative Manual Therapy itself, please visit the section on What is IMT.)

Typically the first thing a patient wants to know is if we can cure them of a particular malady. When Einstein revolutionized the field of physics, he did so with a blank blackboard containing no assumptions from the past. We approach each patient that same way. As an example, a conventional label of "fibromyalgia" is often related to a weakened immune system and the impact of toxicity in the body. The nature of that immune deficiency and toxicity varies from person to person. We treat each client as a unique individual without labels.

Clients have come to us with challenges bearing a broad range of conventional labels. Chronic pain. Cerebral palsy. Autism. Spinal cord injuries. Brain injuries. Attention Deficit Disorder. And the list goes on. We do not say that we heal or cure any particular disorder. We do say with the utmost confidence that we have helped people with similar symptoms and conditions to return to a higher quality of life and health. In many cases, we are able to prevent surgery, or at least help accelerate people's recuperation from it. Also, early intervention with children facing various health challenges has proven extremely effective in healthy development.

Thousands of case studies corroborate that the results of Integrative Manual Therapy are undeniable—even life-changing. (See Stories from the Heart to read what some of our patients have to say.) This unique modality's approach to health can make a difference in most situations, whether related to disease, pain, habilitation or rehabilitation. The only way to know the extent to which Integrative Manual Therapy will be effective for a given client is to schedule a visit to a CenterIMT location for an Integrative Diagnostics session and treatment plan.
